We are all doing well here!
Kyle got his staples out a week ago, and his head is healing well now.
The girls love school and all their friends. We can't wait till Spring when all the kids can go out and play together in the neighborhood.
We had an adventure in shoe shopping this past weekend. It was time for all 3 kids to get new sneakers...what a task that was. Two different malls and tons of shoe stores. Maybe we were too picky or something, but it seemed to take forever to find what we wanted for them and what they wanted. But with all the walking we do now they needed a good solid shoe. But we finally found all 3 of them sneakers Sunday night. And in the chaos of it all we found a nice Outlet mall, and not one, but two Lego stores. Kayleigh spent her remaining birthday money at the Lego store...thanks to the Walters, Great Grandma Nadine, and Aunt Bonnie.
And on the sad side...at least to me. My girls have decided that they don't want to play softball anymore...they'd rather swim! I was so looking forward to softball season, but I guess it'll be poolside for me instead. I'm definitely going to ask them again in the fall, once they've had tons of swimming over the summer. But for now, they start 2 time a week swim lessons in April. They will most likely continue those (moving up in levels as needed) until the end of June and probably again in August. July will be our traveling month of the summer. Maybe I can get Kyle to be my ball player...as soon as he's old enough.
Well that's it for now...I think. I'll post of our ice skating on the river soon...with pics!

And so we begin...
I was inspired by a friend of mine who blogs to start a blog of my own...or should I say our own. It is intended to be mostly about the kids and their adventures as a way to keep friends and family up to date on their lives. So, I sat down earlier this afternoon to start, and what do you know we had adventure right from the start. I heard a bang followed by a screaming little boy. Kyle had flipped his chair over from the dining table and hit his head on a column that I think is intended to separate our living room from our dining area. So off to the ER we went. A few hours later we are home and Kyle has 2 staples in the side of his head, along with a good chunk of hair missing. And so the adventures begin....
