Bikes, Slides, & Toys Oh My....

So we've been pretty busy the past couple days, but nothing new there, right!

So Allie has been getting birthday cards in the mail this past week, and has been very anxious to spend her birthday money. She started out at Target with a gift card from Grandma & Grandpa McMillion. And the end result...a Barbie Cooking Show set. It has cameras and a fridge and a cooking center just like on the food shows.
And tonight she went to ToysRUs to spend some gift cards and cash she had gotten. A special thanks to Aunt Bonnie, Great Grandma Nadine, Aunt Sam & Uncle Jerry, the Wild, Wonderful Walters family, and 2 friends from her class (came to her party), Ansula and Meghan...Allie had $114 to spend at ToysRUs ($50 of which was gift cards)...and the end result...

So that concludes the "toys" section of this post. Today was also a big day for the girls in that their training wheels were removed from their bikes this morning. Kyle had his removed a couple days ago. They aren't great at it, but everyone it trying. Kyle does better when the girls aren't around, so we have been working on his in the morning while both girls are gone at school. Here he is, trying his hardest...

And the girls each had their turns as well...they both did good. Kayleigh has great balance but is scared to death to do it...Allie has no balance whatsoever but isn't scared. It was quite the morning. Sadly I don't have any video or pictures of Allie trying...we couldn't get her upright long enough to get anything good, maybe tomorrow...

And lastly, we went to a local waterpark this afternoon for some poolside fun. The kids had a blast, we are all worn out, and can't wait to go again. Kayleigh tried out the big water slides they had, and they had plenty of smaller slides for all the kids to use. There was a 2 ft section that they loved playing in...all three could play comfortably there...there was also a baby pool section (1 ft) and a sandbox, and a sprayground (which they only got to use briefly before it was closed due to some issue with water pressure). It was a fun day...
